I visited Walford and Round yesterday concerned about an un-resolving eye bleed and overdue eye test. I met Jason who walked through a comprehensive eye examination and eye sight test. At the end of the appointment i felt very reassured and safe in the knowledge that my eye issue will naturally resolve. Sadly my eye sight has deteriorated slightly ( age) and i will be popping in to choose a pair of their fashionable glasses. I would strongly recommend this opticians and Jason. I’ve been going to Walford and Round Opticians in Shipston-on-Stour for a few years now, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is always super friendly and professional. They really take the time to get to know you, which makes such a difference. One thing I really appreciate is their use of the latest technology. During my last eye exam, they used this cool camera called a Fundus camera, which takes detailed photos of the back of your eye. It’s reassuring to know they’re using top-notch equipment to keep an eye (pun intended!) on my overall eye health. I’ve also had the OCT scan done there, and it’s amazing how much information they can gather without it feeling invasive at all. What I love most about this place is that they never rush you. They always take their time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and they make sure all your questions are answered. Plus, their range of glasses is great! I found the perfect pair, and they helped me choose lenses that suit my lifestyle, which is something not every optician does. Walford and Round is definitely not one of those places that just tries to sell you stuff. They genuinely care about your eye health and making sure you’re happy with everything. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring optician. It’s the kind of place where you know you’re in good hands, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.
