I visited Walford and Round yesterday concerned about an un-resolving eye bleed and overdue eye test. I met Jason who walked through a comprehensive eye examination and eye sight test. At the end of the appointment i felt very reassured and safe in the knowledge that my eye issue will naturally resolve. Sadly my eye sight has deteriorated slightly ( age) and i will be popping in to choose a pair of their fashionable glasses. I would strongly recommend this opticians and Jason. I have been under an optician in various businesses in Banbury, and in various towns in the country and I have to say Walford and Round has been top of the pops. I had a good eye test that identified my 3 year struggle with my spectacles was NOT due to sticky eye or blocked tear but by the focal point was too high in one lense. I had a VERY thorough assessment by Jonathan. He gave me so much time to help resolve issues I've had for years and when they were fitted brilliantly, he helped me to decide on a strategy for too bright sun which reactalite nor sunglasses resolved by trialing Polarized glasses that go over my new ones which I would have dismissed out of hand. I was allowed to take different ones home to try before I bought them. They are fab. The receptionists are brilliant. Kind, helpful and even remembers if you need an appointment and they get a cancellation. I can't recommend them more highly.

I have been going to Walford and Round since I was a child, so well over 30 years now. I have lived all over the UK, but due to exceptional service and the friendliness of an independent family run business I stayed with them as my opticians. Service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble from the lovely reception ladies such as Elaine, to the opticians and after care with Jonathan. Thanks guys!

I had received reminders that my eye test was overdue so decided to try W&R who had been earlier recommended by a friend. We were surprised that the eye check found very little change and was told 'it isn't necessary to to have new specs unless you wish to change them' What a contrast with the national chains of opticians who would have not suggested that option. However the specs had become scratched which was making night driving difficult so went ahead and ordered new ones. I could not fault Jonathon's attention to the selection and fitting, and the end result is more than stisfactory - in fact Excellent.

I have just had the most informative and thorough optical consultation ever, I never knew a varifocal lens could be so varied and virtually made to measure, thank you Jonathan Walford!
